Airservices is actively working to ready the airspace for the secure integration of unmanned aircraft. The organization seeks to bolster its current drone surveillance capabilities to remain aligned with advancing technology, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) activities near Australia’s airports. This enhancement is essential for the safe management of airspace. Airservices is committed to delivering an Airspace Surveillance Solution for 29 controlled airports, intending to make it operational by the conclusion of 2025.
