Aloft Technologies, Inc., the industry-leading platform for drone operations and airspace management, today announced its first step towards international expansion. Building on its successes in the U.S. market, where it is currently the most widely used Low Altitude Authorization and Notification Capability (LAANC) provider for the FAA, Aloft will begin offering drone operations and U-Space UTM products in Europe.
This expansion signifies the first phase of Aloft’s global strategy, which is expected to extend to other regions and continents in the near future. The move is underpinned by a strategic partnership with STRADAai, a leading European provider of artificial intelligence solutions for the drone industry.
“We’re thrilled to announce the next step in Aloft’s journey – our expansion into Europe,” said Jon Hegranes, CEO and Founder of Aloft Technologies. “Our state-of-the-art UTM system has been honed for advanced, secure, and scalable drone operations here in the U.S., and now we’re excited to introduce these benefits to Europe. The partnership with STRADAai enables us to combine our forces and offer recreational and commercial drone operators the most comprehensive and effective solutions.”
Aloft’s partnership with STRADAai leverages the strengths of both companies to provide robust drone operations solutions that meet the unique regulatory environments and operational needs of European customers.
Giulio Segurini, CEO of STRADAai, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership. “This alliance with Aloft will enable us to deliver our customers the next generation of drone operations and U-space services. Their track record in the U.S. and commitment to providing the best in drone technology aligns perfectly with our vision for the future. We’re excited about this partnership’s opportunities for STRADAai, Aloft, and the entire drone community in Europe.”
To kick off the European partnership, STRADAai and TEAMgroup are sponsoring a U-Space event in Rome at the Department of Civil, Computer Science and Aeronautical Technologies Engineering Università degli Studi Roma Tre. Aloft will be presenting on UTM from the US and global perspectives and is joined by other presenters, including representatives from Pwc, Telespazio, D-Flight, RM3, Eurocontrol, and ENAC (the Italian Civil Aviation Authority).
