A new software release for D-Fend Solution’s EnforceAir C-UAS allows for increased drone coverage and Remote ID enhancements.

Today, D-Fend Solutions, a frontrunner in radio frequency (RF), cyber-based, non-kinetic, non-jamming, counter-drone takeover technology, has announced the launch of Version 23.03 of its EnforceAir software. This latest update showcases D-Fend’s dedication to regular software enhancements to broaden threat coverage and extend capabilities.

The C-UAS security solution has undergone an upgrade, which builds upon its already award-winning and market-leading capabilities. The enhancements include improved core drone takeover capabilities and coverage, upgraded Remote ID functionality, additional Reporting and Analysis features, and enhanced information sharing for the SAPIENT C-UAS standard.

Expanded Drone Coverage and Capabilities 

Version 23.03 of EnforceAir offers a thorough update to the technology’s cyber detection and mitigation methods and capabilities, including:

  • The addition of detection, identification, and/or mitigation capabilities for over 20 new drones from top drone manufacturers.
  • Enhanced and targeted coverage of the most commonly used drones with high threat ratings.

Remote ID Support Enhancement

EnforceAir’s Remote ID capabilities have been fortified with the following enhancements:

  • Long-range detection, identification, and tracking of drones and add-on modules that comply with Remote ID standards in the United States, EU, and Japan.
  • Improved situational awareness is achieved by integrating and enriching Remote ID broadcasted data with other drone information.
  • Embedding of the Remote ID data layer across all EnforceAir products and configurations, including tactical deployment configuration and networked MSC2 system, with real-time display, API, analysis, and replay capabilities.

Reporting and Analysis 

This update provides enhancements to EnforceAir’s data analysis capabilities including:

  • New reporting capabilities to leverage replay feature
  • New Drone Activity Overview report, a first in a series of new Reports and Analyses

SAPIENT Support 

EnforceAir now allows for information sharing with external C2 systems through the use of SAPIENT, the Sensing for Asset Protection with Integrated Electronic Network Technology standard from the UK Ministry of Defense.

API Update 

EnforceAir’s API has been upgraded to enable the sharing of a wider range of drone information elements across systems for an integrated defense. Moreover, the system’s APIs will receive regular updates to ensure efficient and comprehensive data sharing with connected, multi-layered C2 systems.
