DJI, a world-leading drone company that specializes in easy-to-fly camera and sensor platforms for hobbyists, commercial operators, and public safety, was named by the U.S. Department of Defense as one of many “Chinese military companies” operating directly or indirectly in the United States.

The names were released in accordance with the statutory requirement of Section 1260H of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021.

According to the statement, the US Government reserves the right to take additional actions on these identified companies.
