DroneShield has announced the release of a new product, the DroneGun Mk4. The Mk4 version was based on extensive development based on end-user feedback. The product is available for purchase now to qualified, lawful end-users (1).
The DroneGun Mk4 is a compact and lightweight drone jamming device, resembling a pistol, that weighs 3.2kg. DroneShield advertises that this product is unrivaled globally due to its unique blend of portability and efficacy.
The DroneGun Mk4 is not intended to replace the highly popular long-range DroneGun Tactical or the ultralight DroneGun MK3 in the product line. Instead, it serves as an addition, striking the perfect balance between size and functionality.
Moreover, the DroneGun Mk4 can be utilized alongside other DroneShield products, such as the RfPatrol body-worn detection device and the DroneSentry stationary multi-sensor detection system.
Angus Bean, DroneShield Chief technology Officer, commented: “DroneGun is an iconic DroneShield brand of products, from the original first-generation unit released in late 2016, to this latest offering. The product line has a deep heritage globally including U.S. DoD and all main western militaries, intelligence community globally and law enforcement customers. This product features break-through technologies such as advanced waveforms to offer unparallel performance for its size and weight.” (Press Release)
