In a recent LinkedIn post from August 7, 2023, the Israeli National Police (INP) are seeking “firsthand insights and information regarding the Counter-Unmanned Aerial System (C-UAS) industry.” The INP are seeking a Request for Information/Demonstration (RFI/RFD) as an initial step before releasing a tender to select providers across various categories of C-UAS technology.
The INP are particularly interested in three key technology categories:
1. Sensors: This includes RF, Radar, Electro-Optics, Acoustics, and other relevant sensor technologies.
2. Soft Kill: Encompassing a range of solutions from jammers to takeover mechanisms.
3. Hard Kill: This category involves aiming devices, ammunition, and drones designed for combating unmanned aerial systems.
The INP seeks effective, proven, and innovative solutions available on the market that are specifically tailored for the Homeland Security (HLS) sector and suitable for managing complex urban environments.
Interested companies must work through an Israeli representative to participate in this opportunity. The applications will be evaluated against the specified requirements and shortlist the most qualified companies. These selected companies will be invited to demonstrate their C-UAS solutions in September.
