Swarm-based counter UAV defense system proposes the use of an autonomous defense UAV swarm to mitigate drone threats.  The paper describes a self-organizing, autonomous defensive UAV swarm to intercept drones that have been identified as a threat.  This GPS-free approach is resilient to communication losses.  Through extensive simulations, the feasibility and performance of this approach are demonstrated.
