Anduril Industries and Mahindra Group have announced a strategic partnership aimed at developing advanced counter-UAS technology and autonomous maritime solutions. The collaboration seeks to enhance regional security by deploying next-generation autonomous systems tailored for defense and surveillance operations.
The partnership will focus on co-developing modular autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) for security, surveillance, survey and reconnaissance missions. These AUVs are designed for rapid deployment and aim to strengthen maritime operational capabilities in contested environments.
A key element of the agreement involves advancing counter-UAS technologies to detect and neutralize drone threats. As drone warfare and surveillance threats continue to evolve, the joint effort will integrate artificial intelligence to enhance detection, tracking and interception capabilities. The companies also plan to develop a sensor fusion platform that will integrate multiple sensor technologies into an open API architecture, streamlining adoption across various security programs.
