COBBS BELUX BV announced NATO’s approval of the first-ever Counter-small Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) procurement framework agreement by the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA).
The selected offerings for this contract include the MyDefence Wingman and the DroneShield Dronegun Mk4, facilitated through COBBS BELUX BV, DroneShield, and MyDefence’s local partner in Belgium and Luxembourg. This initial framework spans three years with options for extensions.
As NATO‘s primary organization for multinational acquisition, support, and sustainment across all domains, NSPA aims to secure the best equipment and services at optimal prices by consolidating requirements from multiple nations. Through its Support Partnerships, NSPA aggregates demand and allocates production capacity based on member countries’ priorities, ensuring cost-efficient multinational acquisition frameworks.
