Counter-drone defenses tested by massed drone strikes across the Middle East

The conflict in the Middle East has escalated significantly following U.S.-Israeli strikes targeting Iran on February 28. Retaliation from Iran has seen hundreds of drones launched at various nations and U.S. installations across the Middle East. The U.S. and its allies have reported intercepting large numbers of Iranian Shahed drones throughout the escalation, with counter-drone defenses in the region being heavily tested. We have assessed confirmed counter-UAS engagements and the systems deployed to intercept drones between Feb 28 March 10 in an effort to provide a clearer picture of how counter-drone defenses are holding up to the massed drone threats being faced in the Gulf.
