DroneShield announced it has received a $49.6 million contract from an in-region European reseller, which is contractually obligated to distribute the products to a European military end-customer.
The agreement covers handheld counter-drone systems, along with associated accessories and software updates.
The deal was arranged through a longstanding reseller partner, which has facilitated 15 contracts worth more than $86.5 million for DroneShield over the past three years.
According to the company, “DroneShield has a large portion of this stock on-the-shelf and expects to complete all deliveries in Q1 2026. Cash payments are also expected to be fully received in Q1 2026. No additional material conditions need to be satisfied.”
This deal underscores growing demand for advanced counter-drone technology across Europe, as military organizations seek effective solutions to address evolving aerial threats.
Earlier this month, Belgium finalized a €2.8 million agreement with the company, the Belgian embassy in Canberra announced. The purchase is part of Belgium’s recently unveiled €50 million anti-drone initiative led by Defence Minister Theo Francken.
According to the embassy, the systems will be deployed to enhance security at airports and military installations, providing protection against unauthorized drone incursions.
DroneShield sells its solutions in more than 40 countries worldwide, including the United States, European allies, and Ukraine.
