Team HDT unveiled their groundbreaking RCV solution, the WOLF-X, to Army leaders and defense industry professionals at last week’s Association of the United States Army’s (AUSA) Annual Meeting 2023 in Washington, DC.
The WOLF-X is an 8×8 wheeled Robotic Combat Vehicle designed for the US Army’s RCV program. It offers exceptional transportability and mobility while being rugged, reliable, and user-friendly for operation and maintenance. This purpose-built vehicle meets and exceeds all program requirements and is engineered to accommodate future expansion needs.
The WOLF-X’s base configuration allows it to fit inside a CH-47D helicopter. However, in its advanced setup, it boasts ample power to carry an MK44 30mm chain gun and enhanced armor. The WOLF-X represents cutting-edge technology solutions tailored for today’s multi-domain battlefield, providing superior performance characteristics that align with RCV specifications. Ultimately, the WOLF-X serves as a force-multiplier, enhancing the capabilities of our nation’s Warfighters. (Press Release)
