HevenDrones and SMARTSHOOTER announce partnership

HevenDrones has announced a partnership with SMARTSHOOTER, a developer of advanced fire control systems, to integrate precision targeting technology into Heven’s H100 and Urban drone platforms.

The collaboration combines HevenDrones’ advanced unmanned aerial systems with SMARTSHOOTER’s SMASH Dragon platform, enabling drones to detect, track and neutralize ground and aerial threats with high precision.

Precision targeting for evolving warfare

SMARTSHOOTER’s SMASH Dragon platform is an innovative robotic weapon system that uses proprietary fire control algorithms and ballistic-calculated shot release to ensure precise engagement. The system can lock onto, track and engage both static and dynamic targets in complex environments, day or night, and is designed to minimize human error caused by stress or fatigue.

The integration with HevenDrones’ hydrogen-powered platforms offers extended operational endurance and eco-friendly energy efficiency, enhancing the system’s value for military and security applications.

As drones increasingly become tools of both offense and defense, the partnership seeks to address the growing demand for counter-drone capabilities.

“Drone conflicts are escalating, and counter-drone technology will be critical for armed forces,” said HevenDrones CEO Bentzion Levinson. “This partnership aims to meet the future needs of remotely-controlled warfare.”

SMARTSHOOTER’s fire control systems have a proven track record, with deployments in NATO-aligned militaries and contracts to equip the British Army with counter-UAS technology. The collaboration with HevenDrones positions the companies to meet global defense requirements as the demand for advanced drone solutions rises.

Enhanced capabilities

  • Target Tracking: SMASH Dragon’s algorithms enable continuous tracking of unpredictable targets, even in challenging environments.
  • Extended Range: HevenDrones’ hydrogen-powered systems provide longer flight durations, critical for surveillance and engagement missions.
  • Versatility: The combined system is designed to operate in various scenarios, from urban environments to open battlefields, addressing both ground and aerial threats.

With the rising use of drones in asymmetric warfare, integrating precision targeting with drone platforms is a natural evolution to maintain tactical superiority as militaries seek to adapt to emerging threats and the evolving battlefield landscape.
