SIBAT, the International Defense Cooperation Directorate at the Israel Ministry of Defense, organized a specialized seminar showcasing Israel’s advanced counter-drone technologies. The event was held as part of an emergency preparedness conference for German police chiefs, led by the Israel Police.
The seminar gathered over 40 participants, including approximately 20 police chiefs from Germany and Israel, who explored Israel’s extensive experience in countering drone threats. Israeli defense industries have developed significant expertise in this domain in recent years, particularly during wartime operations.
Strengthening Bilateral Security Ties
This initiative aligns with the Ministry’s strategy to expand defense exports and reflects Germany’s growing investment in domestic security. It underscores the deepening cooperation between Israel and Germany and the commitment to joint knowledge-sharing efforts to address evolving hybrid threats.
Industry Leaders Showcase Cutting-Edge C-UAS Solutions
Twelve leading Israeli defense companies presented innovative technologies for detecting, tracking, and neutralizing hostile drones.
Four companies – D-Fend Solutions, Sentrycs, ParaZero, and Skylock – conducted live demonstrations simulating real-world threat scenarios faced by security forces worldwide.
