A counter-UAS exercise at Camp Shelby Joint Force Training Center in Mississippi has tested the integration of 22 sensors from 14 companies into a single operating picture for detecting, tracking and identifying small drones.
Magnolia Crucible 2026, held September 9-10, brought together military units, law enforcement agencies, critical infrastructure representatives and technology providers to assess UAS and counter-UAS capabilities under field conditions.
The exercise examined technologies that could support the National Guard Bureau’s Weapons of Mass Destruction Civil Support Teams in detecting, tracking and identifying small unmanned aircraft that could present chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear threats.
SPS ARS, which operates as Spatial Persistent Software, provided its UNIFY.C2 platform as the command-and-control and data fusion layer for the exercise.
