MARSS plans to debut a new capability within its NiDAR C4 platform at DSEI 2025, introducing what it calls Autonomous Mission Management (AMM). The feature is designed to allow operators to task, deploy and recover uncrewed assets, such as drones, unmanned surface vessels (USVs) and unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), directly from within NiDAR, without requiring pilot input.
According to the company, AMM enables NiDAR to act as a central command hub for multi-domain operations by fusing live video and sensor feeds from uncrewed systems with other data sources. This process provides automatic geolocation of threats on operational maps and reduces the need for manual verification by operators.
The architecture is intended to extend layered defense across multiple environments, including air, land, maritime and subsurface domains. NiDAR AMM can manage both sensor platforms and effectors, with human operators retaining final engagement authority.
At the exhibition, MARSS will demonstrate the capability in partnership with Milrem Robotics and EOS. The demonstration will feature Milrem’s THeMIS Combat unmanned ground vehicle equipped with the EOS R150 remote weapon station, integrated into NiDAR’s AMM environment.
MARSS positions the upgrade as a significant step forward for its command-and-control offering, describing it as moving beyond situational awareness to active mission management. The company says NiDAR AMM is already deployable and is aimed at military and security operators seeking to integrate autonomous platforms into layered defense strategies.
