Ondas is set to launch a new command-and-control platform called LADOS on June 15, adding another layer to the company’s growing portfolio of autonomous defense and counter-UAS technologies.
According to the company, LADOS, short for Layered Autonomous Defense Operational System, is designed to connect sensors, autonomous platforms, effectors and command elements into a unified operational framework intended to support mission execution across multiple domains.
The announcement comes as defense companies increasingly focus on integrating disparate systems and creating software architectures capable of coordinating autonomous assets and delivering faster decision-making.
System designed to connect multiple platforms
Ondas said LADOS serves as the operational layer within its broader software architecture, bringing together intelligence gathering, threat detection, mission execution and assessment functions into a single environment.
The platform complements SkyWeaver, the company’s Palantir-powered artificial intelligence layer intended to support intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR), mission planning and decision support from higher-altitude and longer-range assets.
Eric Brock, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ondas, said the company sees a need for a common operational layer capable of linking increasingly diverse systems.
“Modern defense operations increasingly require a unified operational layer capable of connecting diverse systems and mission assets,” Brock said.
“Defense forces are deploying more sensors, autonomous systems, robotic platforms, and effectors than ever before, but these technologies often operate independently. LADOS is designed to bridge that gap by serving as the operational C2 layer that connects Ondas’ technologies into one mission-ready systems-of-systems architecture. It provides customers with an immediate solution for integrated mission execution across multiple domains.”
Part of wider autonomy strategy
Ondas said LADOS forms part of a broader effort to develop integrated autonomous capabilities spanning counter-UAS, ISR, robotics, secure communications and command-and-control technologies.
Oshri Lugassy, Co-Chief Executive Officer of Ondas Autonomous Systems, said future operations will require software capable of coordinating multiple assets rather than relying on individual systems.
“LADOS represents the next step in Ondas’ mission autonomy roadmap,” Lugassy said.

The company said the system is intended to reduce operator workload and improve coordination across defense and security environments by consolidating sensing, decision support and response orchestration into a single framework.
The launch of LADOS follows Ondas’ expansion into areas including counter-drone technologies, autonomous ISR platforms, ground robotics and AI-enabled command-and-control capabilities. The company views integrated systems-of-systems architectures as a key part of its strategy across defense, homeland security, public safety and critical infrastructure markets.
