ParaZero secures MOD approval for the marketing of DefendAir

ParaZero Technologies Ltd. announced today that it has obtained official approval from the Israeli Defense Export Controls Agency (DECA) to market DefendAir, its counter-UAS solution. This achievement represents a key milestone in ParaZero’s mission to grow its footprint in the global defence and security sectors.

ParaZero’s counter-drone system, the DefendAir, employs proprietary technology to intercept unauthorised or hostile drones, delivering a robust final layer of protection for critical infrastructure, sensitive military operations, and public safety. DECA’s approval will enable ParaZero to market and deploy this cutting-edge solution to international clients, including governments, defence agencies, and private sector entities.

Boaz Shetzer, CEO of ParaZero, stated: “Receiving the MOD approval is a key milestone for ParaZero, reflecting our efforts of meeting the highest regulatory and ethical standards in the defence sector. This approval enables us to offer critical protection against aerial threats to customers worldwide. The global counter-UAS market is experiencing rapid growth as drones are increasingly used across military, commercial, and recreational sectors. As such, the global counter-UAS market is expected to reach $7.05 billion by 2029. ParaZero’s recent approval strategically positions the company to meet the increasing demand for advanced counter-drone technologies, ensuring safety while minimizing disruptions to operations.

ParaZero’s counter-drone technology solutions “leverage a distinct technology portfolio protected by global patents, that we have developed over the course of more than ten years”, said Boaz Shetzer. He continued, “We believe that this technology portfolio enables us to effectively counteract various threats posed by drones by rapidly developing bespoke C-UAS solutions for key clientele.
