All Points Logistics, together with its protégé Eikon Research, Inc., has received the FY23 Nunn-Perry Award from the Department of Defense’s Mentor-Protégé Program. This award, presented during the 2024 Mentor-Protégé Program Summit by the DoD Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP), acknowledges exceptional growth and contributions to critical defence initiatives.

The partnership between All Points Logistics and Eikon Research has played a key role in advancing radar technology, modelling and simulation, and user interface systems. These innovations have bolstered situational awareness and threat detection, providing crucial support to warfighters in C-UAS operations.

The Catalyst Center for Business & Entrepreneurship also contributed to this success by providing Eikon Research with essential expertise, aiding in the development of these technologies.

“This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of both our teams. We are proud to support Eikon Research in developing cutting-edge technology that will greatly benefit our Warfighters and enhance national security,” said Phil Monkress, CEO of All Points Logistics.

Monkress emphasised that mentoring small businesses is central to All Points’ strategy, with this partnership exemplifying that commitment.

The Nunn-Perry Award, named in honour of Senator Sam Nunn and former Secretary of Defense William Perry, celebrates their role in establishing the Mentor-Protégé Program. This initiative, launched in 1990, pairs small businesses with larger companies to help them grow into effective subcontractors and suppliers for DoD and other federal and commercial contracts.

The advancements achieved through this collaboration are expected to significantly improve the safety and effectiveness of U.S. forces, reinforcing both national and international security efforts.
