The Pentagon’s Joint Interagency Task Force 401 (JIATF-401) has awarded CACI International a contract worth up to $500 million for its SkyValor counter-UAS system, supporting the Department of Defense’s efforts to expand layered defenses against drone threats.
The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract follows operational testing of SkyValor in Arizona, after which JIATF-401 approved the system for military use. According to CACI, SkyValor will now be deployed to unspecified critical locations, including under an initial task order supporting the Pentagon’s Domestic Shield initiative.
