PerceptView unveils new expeditionary C-UAS systems for urban and austere environments

PerceptView launched two new C-UAS expeditionary solutions this week: the EX SUADS and TSN Shield-360. These systems are designed to support drone defense operations in the military, critical infrastructure, and commercial sectors.

Overview of the EX SUADS and TSN Shield-360

The EX SUADS and TSN Shield-360 are modular systems that integrate detection, identification, and tracking technologies. They are engineered to function as stand-alone units or as part of a networked, multi-node system.

Key features include:

  • Four active, long-range radars
  • Daylight and infrared (IR) cameras
  • GNSS for rapid calibration
  • Multiple sensor and effector add-ons
  • Single-operator deployment in under one hour
  • Transportable in ten or fewer Pelican cases

These systems are built for flexible deployment on unprepared ground, container rooftops, ladder-accessible locations, and roof hatches.

System Architecture and Compatibility

The EX SUADS configuration supports Medusa, Walaris, and CFAM classifiers and complies with government open architecture standards. The TSN Shield-360 offers similar capabilities for commercial and critical infrastructure applications, integrating PerceptView’s AwareView common operating picture and the Walaris classifier, while maintaining open-architecture compliance.

Secure Airspace Awareness and Network Integration

Both systems provide a secure, self-contained network for airspace monitoring and C-UAS operations. They can operate independently or as part of a federated network, sharing automation, classification, tracking, and video intelligence across a private infrastructure.

An integrated map interface offers real-time visualization of airspace activity, along with video recording and annotation tools for incident review, intelligence sharing, or integration with external command-and-control (C2) systems.

Applications Across Sectors

The EX SUADS and TSN Shield-360 are designed for a range of operational scenarios, including border security, military training ranges and combat zones, critical infrastructure protection, and public event security

According to PerceptView, the systems “bring command-level situational awareness to the tactical edge.”
