The results of this study yield a profound understanding of the research hurdles and opportunities essential for conducting effective investigations into drone-related incidents. Moreover, a potential comprehensive investigation model is proposed. The insights presented in this study hold great significance for both forensic researchers and practitioners, offering a structured methodology for investigating events involving drones. This study lays the groundwork for establishing international standards in drone forensics.
