The threat of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) or Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) to critical infrastructure is a growing concern due to their potential to disrupt operations, compromise security, and pose various risks to essential facilities and systems. Critical infrastructure includes sectors such as energy, water, transportation systems , communications, defense industrial base, government facilities, critical manufacturing, and more. Drones, when misused or exploited for malicious purposes, can pose several significant threats to these vital assets through a variety techniques and strategies.
