Detection Range- Radar

Detection range for radars describes the straight line distance at which a radar system can detect a UAV. This specification is often provided in meters, kilometers, or miles. The material, size, and type of UAV can cause this distance to vary even under similar environmental conditions. Manufacturer specifications for detection range are usually under ideal circumstances. They should be verified with real-world testing to ensure they meet agency requirements.
