Acoustic sensors are Counter-UAS systems that detect drones by recognizing the unique sounds produced by their motors. Acoustic systems rely on a library of sounds produced by known drones, which are then matched to sounds detected in the operating environment.
When it comes to airspace awareness and protection, we can all learn from the knowledge, experience, and perspectives of others in this emerging field.
