Tactical 785HD & Tactical 550HD Camera Systems
To mark the introduction of the Tactical 785HD Camera System, the newest addition to
PerceptView’s line of long-range surveillance and Counter-UAS camera systems, PerceptView
presents a side-by-side comparison of the Tactical 785HD and Tactical 550HD solutions. Both
systems provide reliable infrared and electro-optical visibility with full remote control for critical
infrastructure and defense applications.
The Tactical 785HD extends tracking performance beyond the Tactical 550HD’s 3.5–5 km range,
reaching over 6.5 km when tracking a DJI Mavic 3–class drone. With both wider and narrower
zoom options, the 785HD delivers increased pixels on target while maintaining the
responsiveness, clarity, and agility of the Tactical 550HD.
The Tactical 785HD and Tactical 550HD feature the 9520 electro-optical daylight camera and
both are field-swappable and plug-and-play, with quick-connect bracketry that allows rapid
swapping to place the right camera system where and when it is needed most.
Each system supports full remote camera control via RemoteView, with additional security and
surveillance capabilities enabled through automatic target classifiers such as Walaris and CFAM.
Designed for operational flexibility, both systems can be carried, lifted, and deployed by one
person, are fly-away transportable in cases under 100 lbs, and can be rapidly deployed for
expeditionary operations or installed as permanent surveillance assets.
Both camera systems integrate seamlessly into PerceptView’s full Counter-UAS TSN Shield360
and EX-SUADS solutions, serving as the optical layer for integrated radar, Remote ID, GNSS,
DFend’s EnforceAir, ADS-B, and additional sensors. Camera control, detection mapping,
classification reporting, automation, and alerting are unified through AwareView, PerceptView’s
command-and-control interface.
Whether deployed as standalone surveillance assets or as part of a complete Counter-UAS
solution, both the Tactical 785HD and Tactical 550HD provide long-range visibility for detecting,
tracking, classifying, and mitigating drones and other potential threats.
