The threat of drones to public safety encompasses a range of concerns related to the potential risks and negative impacts that drones can pose to individuals, communities, and society at large. Also known as Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) or Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), drones have gained popularity for both recreational and commercial purposes. However, when operated irresponsibly or maliciously, drones can create serious hazards for communities and society at large.
