Benefitting from the involvement of many other senior decision-makers, as well as operational and tactical input, the previous event explored Critical and Public Infrastructure Protection, Acquisition & Resources Efforts and provided a FBI & DOJ Perspective on Operational and Legal Challenges in Domestically Counter-UAS.
Over the course of two days, the 2023 program aims to maintain some of these key topics, as well as explore key Counter-UAS Developments, including a case study of Ukraine-Russia developments almost a year on where we will consider lessons learned from this ongoing conflict and what the US should do to bolster and secure its position in all of the warfighting domains: air, land, maritime, cyber and space.
Beyond this, the conference intends to go into greater depth on how to navigate the challenge of combatting UAS in sensitive environments, including urban and maritime environments, the need for bolstered communication between the DoD and industry, and an overview of the future of UAS to give a more strategic projection from the present until 2040. It will also review the National Action Plan a year on – how this has evolved, where the gaps still are, etc.
