Taiwan’s defense planners are increasingly focused on the threat posed by China’s growing drone arsenal. PLA forces routinely deploy UAS around Taiwan’s coast and drones would likely factor heavily in any Taiwan-China conflict.

Ukraine has already done much of the hard work in learning how to fight an asymmetric war against a far larger adversary, making its battle-hardened counter-UAS tactics especially relevant to Taiwan.
