The French Rafale fighter has received a new counter-drone capability following the successful integration of 68 mm laser-guided rockets, providing the aircraft with a lower-cost option for engaging unmanned aerial threats such as Shahed drones.
France’s Directorate General of Armaments (DGA) announced that it had successfully completed testing of the new Anti-Drone Combat Aircraft Capability (LADAC), with the program reaching its first operational capability less than eight months after the contract was awarded.
