Black River Systems Company is a small business headquartered in Utica, NY consisting of approximately 100 employees, mainly computer scientists, electrical engineers, and systems engineers. We have been supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) with advanced mission capabilities for more than 25 years.  Our focus is on the design, development, and creation of algorithms and tools to solve complex problems. We excel in advanced research and engineering, and often lead the development of these unique products from rapid prototyping to initial production. Our areas of expertise include multi-intelligence, multi-domain sensing, sensor data exploitation, machine learning, and autonomous control of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems.

Black River is the prime contractor and lead integrator for the Ninja family of C-UAS systems.   Ninja has been selected by the Joint C-UAS Office (JCO) as an approved precision EW system and we have deployed hundreds of C-UAS units across the globe. Black River continues to to lead the deployment, training, support, and maintenance of these products throughout their lifecycle.
