Silvus Technologies has entered into a strategic partnership with Commdex to expand the reach of its StreamCaster Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) radios across U.S. state, local and federal agencies. The agreement aims to support public safety and disaster response organizations by offering decentralized, mobile communications systems capable of enabling UAS to operate in infrastructure-denied environments.

The collaboration will integrate Silvus’ tactical mesh networking technology into Commdex’s portfolio of mission-critical communications solutions. Commdex, a systems integrator with experience in government and emergency services networks, will serve as a distribution and integration partner for Silvus’ StreamCaster radios.

StreamCaster radios operate without the need for conventional infrastructure, using Silvus’ proprietary MN-MIMO waveform to establish an adaptive, self-forming mesh network. This capability enables high-bandwidth, multi-node communications suitable for voice, video and data transmission in harsh environments, including those subject to heavy electronic warfare jamming.

The partnership also makes available Silvus’ new Spectrum Dominance 2.0 feature set to Commdex customers. This software suite offers enhanced security features such as low probability of intercept and detection, anti-jamming and threat protection designed for use in contested or electronically degraded environments.

Both companies framed the agreement as a response to the increasing demand for resilient communications networks in emergency and defense operations, particularly where conventional infrastructure is compromised or unavailable.

The partnership is effective immediately, with StreamCaster MANET radios and Spectrum Dominance capabilities available through Commdex’s government contracting channels.
