President Donald Trump’s recent executive orders targeting drones, counter-UAS operations and advanced air mobility have enforced a renewed focus on longstanding security concerns regarding UAS threats.
This focus may finally bring long-stalled efforts to fruition. The directives aim to tighten airspace security around critical infrastructure, bolster training and operational frameworks for law enforcement and extend the use of detection and defeat technologies across federal and local agencies.
