Defense technology startup Skapion has raised $36 million in seed funding to accelerate the development of its mobile counter-swarm defense system, as demand for scalable counter-drone capabilities continues to grow.
The funding round was co-led by UP.Partners and Khosla Ventures, with participation from existing investors TBD VC, qFund and Fusion VC, as well as new investor Stratos Ventures and additional backers.
According to the company, the investment will support engineering development, system validation and expansion of its technical team. It will also support engagement with defense organizations and strategic partners in Israel, the United States and other allied markets.
