Allen Control Systems (ACS) has secured a series of international agreements to supply its Bullfrog autonomous weapon system to allied forces and to expand its regional support footprint.

Under the deals, ACS will deliver Bullfrog systems to the Republic of Korea Armed Forces and the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces, and will provide operator training, technical assistance and sustainment support for those deployments. In addition, ACS signed a memorandum of understanding with the Romanian Armed Forces to explore local co-production of the system. The company said it is opening regional offices in Asia and Europe to support the new contracts and follow-on activities.

ACS describes Bullfrog as an autonomous precision weapon station that can be integrated with legacy and modern weapon systems to increase engagement accuracy. The company has previously disclosed contracts with the U.S. Army Applications Lab and U.S. Special Operations Command to integrate Bullfrog onto combat platforms.

“As allied nations seek cost-effective and scalable technologies to counter the rapid proliferation of weaponized drones, Bullfrog provides their forces with a new layer of protection against this growing threat on the move and at the edge,” said ACS co-founder and CEO Mike Wior.

ACS added that the procurement packages include training and sustainment to ensure fielded units can operate and maintain the systems over time.

The deals come amid a broader push by NATO members and partners to field more low-collateral kinetic options for close-in counter-UAS defence. Several governments and militaries have emphasised demand for systems that can operate at the tactical edge, on vehicles or maritime platforms, and that can be integrated rapidly with existing sensors and weapon mounts.

ACS said the agreement signed with Romania covers co-production options, a step that can shorten supply chains and support sustainment for regional customers.

The statement emphasised ACS’ provision of operator training and technical support but did not provide technical specifications beyond broad descriptions of precision engagement and legacy system compatibility.

The new regional offices will support customers in Asia and Europe and help manage training, integration and sustainment activities. The company framed the contracts as part of a wider effort to deliver scalable autonomous systems to partners confronting evolving aerial threats.
