DroneShield has announced the launch of DroneSentry-C2 Enterprise (C2E), a new software platform designed to coordinate large-scale counter-drone operations across multiple locations, alongside its first planned deployment on NATO’s eastern flank.

According to the Australia-based company, C2E connects individual DroneSentry-C2 systems, used to detect, track and defeat UAS threats, into a unified operational network. The system enables security operators to manage drone alerts across dispersed sites such as military bases, airports and energy infrastructure, while maintaining visibility of system health, live camera feeds and individual site status.

The enterprise-level platform allows users to move from a strategic view of national operations to direct local control “in one click,” enabling faster decisions and coordinated responses across distributed facilities.

The system’s latest update also includes compatibility with the SAPIENT protocol, enhancing interoperability with NATO and allied command-and-control frameworks. Additional features include military-standard iconography (MIL-STD-2525) and MGRS grid references to ensure familiarity for defense users.

C2E integrates DroneShield’s ThreatAI software, which uses sztuczna inteligencja to prioritize alerts and reduce operator workload during high-tempo operations. The platform reflects a growing shift toward SaaS-based command solutions as governments and industry expand national-level counter-UAS networks.

DroneShield said the first order for C2E will be deployed across a “multi-site European customer” on NATO’s eastern flank in early 2026. The rollout will build on an existing cluster of DroneSentry systems already active in the region, as nations continue to bolster airspace protection against the increasing threat of hostile drones.

DroneShield CEO Oleg Vornik said the enterprise platform represents “the last part” of the company’s broader software strategy, integrating embedded, site-level and enterprise-level layers for what he described as “maximum customer value” in modern airspace defense.
