MyDefence secures $26 million US Army contract for C-UAS systems

MyDefence, a Danish company specializing in C-UAS technology, ogłoszone dzisiaj it has been awarded a $26 million contract by the US Army.

The contract is the largest in the company’s history and further highlights the Army’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its defenses against the growing threat of unmanned aerial systems.

Under the agreement, MyDefence will deliver advanced C-UAS solutions capable of detecting and tracking a wide range of drone threats. These systems will be deployed across Army operations to bolster force protection and enhance tactical readiness.

“This historic contract represents a defining moment for MyDefence and a strong endorsement of our position in the global C-UAS industry,” said Dan Hermansen, CEO of MyDefence Group. “We are honored to have been selected by the US Army as supplier for C-UAS procurement – an endorsement of the trust placed in our team, our mission, and our ability to deliver battle-proven technology at scale.”

Hermansen further highlighted the contract as a reinforcement of the company’s focus on the American market. In response, the company is ramping up its investments and expanding hiring across a range of roles to support the growing demand.

William Ostrowski, recently appointed President and CEO of MyDefence North America LLC, called the contract a strategic milestone for the company’s regional operations.

“We are committed to long-term collaboration with U.S. defense stakeholders and to delivering high-performance systems that adapt to the complex and fast-evolving threat landscape,” Ostrowski said.

Today’s announcement follows a raport from MyDefence earlier this week, detailing a more than 100% increase in earnings for 2024, and a doubling of its workforce to over 80 employees. Additionally, the company expanded its global footprint in 2024, opening new facilities – including an innovation and production hub in Oklahoma, a commercial headquarters in Washington, D.C., and an operational office in Ukraine to support local defense forces.
