A key theme which emerged throughout the three days of the Технології протидії БПЛА в Європі 2026 conference was the extent to which counter‑drone capability is no longer discussed as a single technology, or even a single capability area.
Across panels, presentations and audience questions, counter‑UAS repeatedly emerged as a system‑of‑systems challenge, shaped as much by integration and architecture as by individual sensors or effectors.
Rather than focusing on isolated solutions, discussions consistently returned to how multiple components must operate together, often under tight time constraints and in complex airspaces, if counter‑UAS is to be effective at scale.
