MARSS and BlueHalo team up to advance counter-UAS technology

MARSS, a specialist in AI-enhanced security and surveillance solutions, and BlueHalo, known for its work in counter-UAS and defense technology, have announced a strategic partnership. Formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the partnership aims to enhance collaboration in integrated counter-UAS and airspace command and control technologies.

The MoU establishes a framework for continued knowledge sharing between the two companies. A key aspect of the partnership is the integration of BlueHalo’s Titan counter-UAS RF detection technologies into MARSS’ NiDAR ecosystem to improve situational awareness and threat detection capabilities.

MARSS and BlueHalo have previously collaborated on projects in the Middle East and the United States for both land and maritime defense applications. The companies aim to combine their expertise to improve efficiency in countering aerial threats while reducing the cognitive burden on operators.

“Our partnership with BlueHalo sees the complete integration of its most advanced RF C-UAS technologies with MARSS’ NiDAR platform, forming a comprehensive solution,” said Josh Harman, Senior Vice President of Business Development at MARSS. “By applying lessons learned from sensor and command and control advancements, we are accelerating technological progress in the C-UAS space.”

BlueHalo’s Titan C-UAS RF systems are now integrated into the NiDAR platform, improving AI-driven threat detection, tracking and classification. The combination of BlueHalo’s RF detection and NiDAR’s command and control systems aims to provide operators with accurate and timely threat intelligence.

“The collaboration between BlueHalo and MARSS represents the future of integrated defense technology,” said Larry Satterfield, Vice President of International Sales at BlueHalo. “By working together, we are delivering automated solutions that enhance efficiency and accuracy in countering unmanned threats.”

With the increasing demand for reliable counter-UAS and integrated defense solutions, the MARSS-BlueHalo partnership aims to develop next-generation C4ISR capabilities. The collaboration is intended to ensure that defense systems evolve to address emerging threats and provide nations with advanced tools for security and operational effectiveness.
