The Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Detection and Mitigation Aviation Rulemaking Committee (ARC) has been established by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) with the aim of seamlessly integrating counter-UAS technologies throughout the United States. This committee will provide valuable recommendations to the FAA, ensuring the preservation of safety and efficiency within the National Airspace System (NAS).

DRONERESPONDERS, the 501(c)3 non-profit program of AIRT dedicated to assisting public safety and emergency response organizations worldwide in leveraging small, uncrewed aircraft systems (sUAS), has been chosen to actively engage in the Counter-UAS ARC. Its selection signifies the representation of the public safety community within this committee.

DRONERESPONDERS would like your help identifying Counter-UAS use cases for public safety, emergency and disaster response, and security operations. We are specifically interested in defining detection and identification use case needs for both covered sites and non-covered sites including special events, critical infrastructure, and other potential high-value targets (HVTs).

Please submit your Counter-UAS use cases to DRONERESPONDERS for your agency or organization by clicking on the button below, and we will share them with the appropriate ARC working groups.
