An active investigation is underway in Fargo, ND after a drone was seen flying near Hector International Airport. 

A pilot that witnessed the drone reported it to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) on November 29th, 2022 (Drone Sighting). Fargo Police, the Department of Homeland Security, and other authorities cannot find evidence of the drone. 

Airport Authority Executive Director Shawn Dobberstein informed local news of the incident. He comments on the dangers of drones flying near airports and that it is prohibited without pre-flight approval from the FAA. 

This is not the first sighting of a drone around this airport. No arrests have been made.
