Federal Grand Jury Indictment of Travis Lenhoff filed in the United States District Court of the Southern District of Ohio, Western Division.
In the indictment, it is alleged that Lenhoff flew an unregistered drone, later identified as a DJI Air 2S, during Opening Day for the Cincinnati Reds’ 2022 season at Great American Ballpark.
At the time of the flight, the area in and around Great American Park was subject to NOTAM 0/0367. The indictment states that the defendant “…flew the Drone into and through the restricted flight area of Great American Ballpark.”
The one-count indictment charges Lenhoff with Operation of Unregistered Drone in violation of 49 U.S.C. § 46306(b)(5)(A).
